Check the publish settings if the actionscript version is 2.0.1 person found this helpful
i followed your instruction, after this i am getting this error.
**Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=actions, frame=1:Line 1: Type mismatch in assignment statement: found Number where Boolean is required.
how to solve this problem.
There's some error in the file snap.as, open it and have a syntax check, that should tell you where exactly is that wrong assignment mentioned.
i checked the syntax, its showing
i am attraching the code , if u have time please check and let me know
I pasted the code you have into an external AS file named TempSnap.
I created a new blank MovieClip and added the include statement v#include "TempSnap.as"
I tested the movie and there are no errors. This was all done in Flash 8 pro with standard setting of publish to player 8 and AS2
That leads me to believe the error message is related to something else in the movie.
Oops - I realized after posting this was an old thread. I was researching BitmapData in the forums and was reading this thread to see if it held the answer to my search and noticed it never got resolved. So late but perhaps the answer reveals a debugging method (isolate) for such a problem.
