You have to flip it around--you need to extend TileList so it can accept data dragged from a Tree. As far as I can see, you'll have to override the behaviour of dragEnterHandler(), dragOverHandler(), and dragDropHandler() to accept a dragsource with format "treeItems".
Hey, Thanks for the reply. Yes this appears to work although it took a bit of messing around and I still had to override the dragCompleteHandler method of the Tree component to get the tree view to update. One issue I do have (This appears to be an issue with the tree component) is as you drag and drop files across from one tree to another, when you remove the last child node the parent node which has a folder icon changes to a document icon. Is there a way around this?
You can use the isBranch property of a tree node to tell the Tree to always render it as a branch. eg:
<node label="A Branch" isBranch="true"/>
