    Creating A Water Mark

Is there a way to create a transparent water mark with fireworks. I know how to adjust the transparency, but I do not get the effect like in professional photographs. Thanks in advance.

Do you have an example of the kind of watermark you want?

Well, what are that "professional photographs" you are referring to? I've
seen this effect applied as transparent color, as bump map, and in some
other manners. Which one you call "professional"?

Not sure what you want to do. An easy way is to create the design you want
in white then change the transparency until it looks good to you. If you
are already doing this, it is probably fine enough.
