I am in 100% agreement with DazFaz, the answer you seek is yes.
Ok - I thought you could.
Can't think of a suitably whitty remark now.
So, I just have to ask "How then" I suppose.
What is your goal (besides replacing the image, of course)?
Why are you trying to replace the image? Can you give us some context?
Sorry, it was posted twice.
I am trying to emulate this: http://www.aandjlandscapes.com/index2.htm click a link, acurtain goes up, and when it comes down there is another image behind it.
I have created movie clips of curtains_up and curtains_down. Now its a question of getting the correct image in front and behind. I got it working nicely with one page, but once I introduce a second one then there images appear wrong. They can change before the curtain has gone up.
From your post it sounds like you know how to swap out the image but are having trouble with timing it to the curtains. Correct?
You should place something on the curtain animation that calls the image swap function or routine only when the curtains have finished going up.
Can you post the code you have so far? The forum would be able to give more specific help if you could.
