    dw error message

    SisAndi
      For some reason today for the first time, I'm getting all sorts of random errors when doing simple things like: Inserting a table inside an empty div - got this message:

      While executing onClick in TableCommands.htm the following javascript error(s) occurred:

      At line 2857 of file "C:\program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Shared\Common\Scripts\dwscripts.js": Exception thrown in native function.

      Here is the code I've got in the page so far:

      <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
      " http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
      <html xmlns=" http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
      <head>
      <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
      <title>Untitled Document</title>
      <link href="bu.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
      </head>

      <body>

      <div id="container">
      <div id="top">

      <h1 align="center"><img src="toplogo.gif" alt="Blessed Unions Wedding Consultants in the Dallas Texas Metroplex" width="700" height="106"></h1>
      </div>
      <div id="leftnav">
      <p align="right"><img src="images/bar-about.gif" alt="About Blessed Unions and Emily Youngblood" width="100" height="550"></p>
      </div>
      <div id="content">

      </div>
      <div id="footer">
      Footer
      </div>
      </div>
      </body>
      </html>

      Does Dreamweaver have a "repair" function? Or should I uninstall/re-install? I've been using this program for 2-3 years and never had one single problem before.

      Thanks for helping.
