    loading images

      hello all,

      I need to fill a button with an image on page load and when i click on that button i need to load a movieclip with that image.

      Can anyone suggest a solution.

          Assuming images are all loaded dynamically.

          Using a blank MovieClip for loading external images or swfs is a typical
          route. You will need a thumbnail and full version of the image.

          For the button, you just need to determine where the blank MovieClip for the
          button is to go: inside a MovieClip button you are making or as a MovieClip
          in a Button symbol.

          Then the button would launch the loading of the full image into another
          blank MovieClip. Your options are the MovieClip.loadMovie method or the
          MovieClipLoader class.
