    Movie Clip Border

    Winston2 Level 1
      Is there a way to create a movie clip with a border and have the resulting movie that plays in it *not* cover the border? Right now I'm creating a mc within a mc to solve the problem but I keep thinking that there must be a better way. Thank you. Here's the code that I currently use.

      //this gives me a border
      var square_mc:MovieClip = this.createEmptyMovieClip("square_mc", 0);
      square_mc._x=170;
      square_mc._y=85;
      square_mc.beginFill(0xCCCCCC);
      square_mc.lineStyle(4, 0x999999, 100, true, "none", "round", "miter", 1);
      square_mc.moveTo(0,0);
      square_mc.lineTo(815,0);
      square_mc.lineTo(815,470);
      square_mc.lineTo(0,470);
      square_mc.lineTo(0,0);
      square_mc.endFill();

      //this gives me an inner mc in which to actually play the movie
      var inner_mc:MovieClip=this.createEmptyMovieClip("inner_mc",1);
      inner_mc._x=171.5;
      inner_mc._y=87;
      square_mc.moveTo(0,0);
      square_mc.lineTo(811,0);
      square_mc.lineTo(811,466);
      square_mc.lineTo(0,466);
      square_mc.lineTo(0,0);
