    TotalFrames with Forms

In a web application I am displaying and controlling a number of swf files. I have been using an idiom that when the swf is on the final frame (currentFrame == totalFrames) that the next movie can be shown. This has been working fine and is an easy instruction to pass to producers.

A recent Forms based swf is reporting totalFrames of zero, while the root Form has five frames.

Could someone help me understand what is going on here or suggest an alernative approach to determine when a "child swf" has ended.
