    letter animation

      hullo, guys

      i created an animation using mc_tween.as. how can i control the letters moredynamically? my code looks redundant.

          you can do a lot more interesting animations of text by using timeline tweening.

          create a movie that contains a textfield (say tf and set its autoSize to left). place that movieclip in another movieclip, give it an instance name ( say tfmc) and animate it. maybe have it move along an arc and rotate once or twice.

          you can then use the following code to animate any number of lines of text (s) and position that text's upper left at x,y by calling textF(s,x,y):
