    Control "LoadMovie"

    Donjworks Level 1
      Hello,

      Inside my site I have playing my animations. To do this I use the "loadMovie" Actionscript.

      loadMovie("myanimation.swff", Screen);

      However, I want to contol them (Play & Pause).

      Is this possible? How?

          first of, let me just clarify that if Screen is an instance name of your movie
          clip holder, it should be within quotes:
          loadMovie("myanimation.swf", "Screen");

          Unless of course it is meant to be an expression :) disregard than

          Yes it is possible.
          Assuming Screen is an instance name than all your action will be:
          _root.Screen.play(); _root.Screen.stop();
          If within myanimation.swf you have movie clip call ANIMA than the action will be :
          _root.Screen.ANIMA.play(); _root.Sceen.ANIMA.gotoAndPlay("someLabelName");

          etc...
