    hide Taskbar?

    Level 7
      Hi all,

I've created a couple of simple applications in Director MX that cycle
between a selection of flash files.
The Projector is set to play full screen, and is in windows startup to run
when the pc is started (obviously!)

The problem I am having is that when the pc starts up, the application plays
with the taskbar on top! It only goes if i physically click on the
application (which I cant do since the pc is being left for a week in
      location; restarting each morning).

The task bar is NOT set to 'keep on top of other windows'. Ive also tried
'auto-hide' but it still stays there
I've also tried a buddyAPI function: baHideTaskBar( true ) - still no joy!

Can anyone help? Am i missing something really simple here? (its been a long
      week with not much sleep!!)

      Cheers,

      Tim

I think i might have worked it out...

It only seems to do it if i have a splash screen (ie a bmp file with the
same name as the projector in the root).

If i dont use a splash image, it all work fine?

odd. anyone know why or a workaround?

          Cheers,

          Tim

It sounds like a bug that was fixed with MX 2004 whereby when the splash
screen was removed on projector opening, the projector would be sent
            behind other open windows.
You could either upgrade, or use Buddy API's
baSetWindowState(baWinHandle(), "stayontop") in your #prepareMovie handler
