    Jerky text animations

Whenever I do a text animation (motion tween, usually moving or scaling text from 80% to 100%, for example) the motion is very jerky, not smooth like I often see. I use Flash 8, 20 fps, and the problem is the same on all fonts I've tried. Is there something I'm missing?

Text animation will almost always be jerky, unless you twin a single word.
Flash needs to render all the little curves, a sentence made of many characters
can become quite a complex bunch of curves to move around.
Sometimes breaking apart will help, also increasing frame rate to 31.
