      Hi
addt url validation will not let the address pass if it have variable
      such as

      http://www.xxx.com?a=1

but it's should be a normal web address isn't it?

          Hi chan15,

don´t know if this info will really help you, however :: all of ADDT´s default validation rules are defined in the file "includes/tng/triggers/tNG_FormValidation.class.php", and in here you´ll find the variable $arr["text"]['url']['regexp'] which has a pretty complex regular expression assigned as value.

It seems that the developers did create this regular expression in accordance to the official "Uniform Resource Identifier" (URI) specification (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3986), so it´s probably even somewhat correct -- however I agree that the existing regex might just be too strict for your purposes, so I´d suggest to rather make use of a custom regex which is less restrictive than the default one.

          Cheers,
