This may sound dumb, but are you sure the remote server has the appropriate graphic library running for your dynamic site type? I had the same issue, then realized that Apple's XServes pre-leopard have PHP4.x, compiled without GD. In the end, I installed PHP5 and all is good with image uploads, except for the Flash uploader timing out on clients. That's in another thread.
Hi, thanks for reply.
Yes, the remote server works fine with GD. I've created a script by myself and it's working 100% on both.
Local and remote have GD.
I reckon you´re having ADDT create that 777 folder inside an existing directory -- what permission does this one have ?
When I try to upload with multiple upload on local server it works fine, but on remote server it just doesn't work
when your local server is running on a windows machine, all those permissions don´t matter and are happily ignored -- that stuff will take effect on UNIX/Linux servers
Adobe Community Expert, Dreamweaver
The remote is linux and I've set the permission too 777...and nothing.
I've already tried to add 777 too all folders and files, just for testing purposes, and the error is still the same...
