      Hi there everyone

I am currently trying to make a site that allows users to upload information and pic to a database and display that info in a dynamic table with a thumb of the image I would like to be able to click on the thumb to display another page which has a full sized image I would like all this to be done dynamically , so that I do not have to manually create a new page for each full size thumb, the whole process being automated

I have been following the " Building and IMage Gallery Using ADDT" http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/addt_image_gallery_pt1_03.html
The tutorial is great but I cannot figure out how to link the thumbs that are displayed in the table to another page with another recordset and table which displays a full size image( as well as additional info from another part of the database table) I think that when I upload pics it automatically creates a thumb and a full size image.... I know it does but how do I link the thumb to the full sized image?

Any help would be very nice

          Hi Charis,

if your dynamic table uses a recordset similar to what´s described on the tutorial page "List images and show thumbnails" :

... the recordset also includes the primary key column "id_img" -- and it´s this one which you´ll most likely need to pass on to the "detail" page as URL parameter (detail.php?img_id=) and - on that page - create a recordset which queries the same table, but use a different Filter condition:

          Filter: img_id = URL parameter img_id

And here´s where you should be displaying the related info plus the full size image whose file name is stored in the column "filename_img"
