Skip it. I had a few beers and I got it right :)
Very easy actually. With the Dynamic list and forms.
I am wondering the method you used to implement this? I have spent several day trying to do this but just can' do it.
What is going wrong?
I'll try to explain what I did.
First you need 3 tables in your database. Example, One for directors one for movies and one for the relations. The relations table only have two colums one that will contain directors id and one that will have movies id.
Then in DW
Set up an Update form with the Form wizard. It only need to have the Directors as a select list.
Second apply the many to many wizard server behavior.
master table is Directors
relations able is Relations table (with the two key fields linking to the other two tables)
and Detail is movies table
Hit finish and ADDT will do the rest for you. This is displayed as checkboxes. But I think it could be tweeked to a select list pretty easy.
I hope I remembered it all now :)
