          Hi Yomi,

"join" is one of the reserved words you can´t use for MySQL table and column names

            Thanks Gunter,
            It worked,
How do one identify when an error is due to MySQL Reserved words?
I mean looking at specific error triger

            Best Regards

              Hi Yomi,

              --------
How do one identify when an error is due to MySQL Reserved words?
              --------

in most cases the "You have an error in your SQL syntax near" error message already indicates that the first mentioned column name following "near" is the possible troublemaker -- MySQL always stops here and displays the column name it stumbles across, and in this case it´s "join".

However, as this error message might not always be related to having used a reserved word, it´s recommended to compare your column names against a list of reserved words provided on a page like this: http://www.htmlite.com/mysql002a.php

                      Yomi,

                      Please read this thread:
                      http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b57554

I don't recommend ever using single words for database field names. If you use a naming convention, you will avoid all these problems you are having with reserved words.

                        That was insightful.
