    Coated vs. uncooated #'s?  HELP!

      Hello all,

A client is asking for the coated #'s of a color that I gave her as uncoated. Aren't they the same except with a c on the end? The colors are identical swatches.

The appellation is the same, with a "C" instead of "U" at the end.

On the other hand, the appearance is different: coated colors usually look deeper/darker and more saturated, the more so as the chosen uncoated substrate is more dull and less reflective.

Consequently, a number of highly-saturated and deep colors cannot be produced on certain uncoated stocks.
