Thanks for your response. As per your advice i used the saveas method.
But i don't know how to pass the filename through saveas method. Kindly help me with some samples.
Could you please help me what's wrong in the below code. This code throws the ReferenceError.
var myDoc = app.openDoc("D:\main1.pdf");
var envPath = "D:\out.eps";
ReferenceError: envPath is not defined
The first parameter of save As must be a device-independent and save path. As second parameter you must specify the conversion ID string. Did you read the documentation?
I am using something like this to export ps or eps. The Conversion ID string is the "com.adobe.acrobat.eps" or .ps
this.saveAs(this.path.replace(/\.pdf$/i,"") + "_export" + ".eps", "com.adobe.acrobat.eps");
Make sure to check your "convert from PDF" settings in preferences as this is what will be used.
