Yes. Take a look at the Net.SOAP and Net.HTTP sections of the JS API Reference. They have methods specific to interacting with WebDAV servers.

I have an old, 2001, version of onlinecomments.pdf and it includes the following:
Collab.defaultStore = "FSFDF";
However, they are NOT mentioned in the 8.1 Acrobat API Reference! Which I find rather worrying. Collab is mentioned in this, but with StateModel methods.
What's going on?
Will Collab.setStoreSettings & Collab.defaultStore work in Reader 9 to connect to a WebDAV server for a collaborative review?
Yes, they should work. Adobe is usually pretty good at documenting any deprecations.
No, oddly enough these methods have never been mentioned in the JS AP Ref. Instead they are only ever mentioned in the collaboration documents and JS Guides. There is an 8.1 version of the collaboration documentation in the 8.1 SDK under "Custom_Configurations".
It seems that Collab.setStoreSettings & Collab.defaultStore doesn't affect on change webdav repository. I am using this pdf file for Reader X. Please advise ?
