You have to tell it which program you want to open... in this case, it
would be explorer.exe. So the command would look like this:

But it only works with Director MX 2004. I've tried that command with Adobe Director 11 and nothing happen. :-??
That is odd. I guess it won't work on Vista. Bummer. You can do the
same thing with BuddyAPI, and it does work on Vista.
Just FYI, you can do the same thing with Buddy API’s baOpenFile method. Just give it a folder path but don’t include the filename. Way back in the day this was cross platform compatible but it’s been a long time since I’ve checked if it still works on a Mac. The other neat thing about this is that you can use one script to open both files and folders depending on the path you feed it.
