    Adobe Designer

Helllllppppp!!! I made a dynamic PDF form in Adobe designer with fields that work, except the client wants a field to be copy pasted with word text. This is ok for the first page, but it will go over the length of the box, and I am unable to get it to go past page one. Everything I have read in help says that another page will automatically be rendered. It isn't. I have the subfolder set to page breaks, and I CANNOT get the text to go to the next page. Any solutions?

          Help....
I created a form using Adobe Designer (Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional). It looks great and all the fields work. This form will be available for our clients and will be submitted by email back to us. The problem is that my supervisor doesn't want it saved as a xml formdata file but as the completed form after the client submits it. Is there a script or tag that I can use so that the xml form is reunited with a blank form automatically and then saved? I read that Coldfusion can achieve this with the cfpdfform tag by using the populate action of this particular tag. The problem is that I've never used ColdFusion. I've installed ColdFusion on my computer but wouldn't know where to start. Can it be done just using Acrobat Designer?
          Thanks!

You can do this within Acrobat JavaScript only if your clients are using Acrobat and not Reader. If they are using Reader you will need to buy a LiveCycle Reader Extensions Server license to extend the form rights so that Reader will be allowed to save and submit a full PDF.

              please help...

How can I open, fill, and use the save as option in an interactive pdf form using older versions of reader when the form was created in Adobe Designer. I designed the form in Designer but when I tried to open with Reader 8 the submit button doesn't work, the digital signatures do not work and the save as option under file does not work. When I try to change the pdf optimizer, i get a message that says "this pdf contains an adobe xml form, such pdfs cannot be optimized" is this the reason why I cant use the form correctly in older versions of reader?

              Thanks!

You can't. They don't work with the oldest versions, it's new
technology. They work in 7, not sure about older versions If you want
more compatibility, you have to make the form in Acrobat, not
                  Designer.

                  >.I designed the form in Designer but when I tried to open with Reader 8 the submit button doesn't wor

Probably trying to submit as PDF form. Reader can't do that (except
                  for enabled files).

*, the digital signatures do not work

                  > Reader can't do that (except for enabled files)

                  * and the save as option under file does not work.

Reader can't do that (except for enabled files)

Adobe like to sell Acrobat to people who want to do these things. But
you can enable for a limited number of people with Acrobat
                  Professional 8.

No. But be aware that once you have entered the Designer world, you
can't go back, it isn't a normal PDF any more, and can't be converted
                  to one.
