You do not need a script.
In AcroForms You need to create a "rich text" field. But there is "Leading" option for this type of field.
For LiveCycle Designer, you can use the "spaceAbove" for leading.

That's great but how do I do that?
What its AcroForms? Is that a separate plug-in or something? Sorry I'm asking some dumb questions but I really have no clue about this stuff. I'm using a Mac so I don't have LiveCycle
The rich text field was introduced with version 6 of Acrobat. The Mac version of Acrobat does not include LiveCycle Designer. But the "Rich Text" is an option on a text field's properites "Option" tab.
So I expect you you can not alter the "leading".
AcroForms, normal Acrobat forms, and the only kind you can make on a
Forms don't provide any significant typographic control.
