I have a PDF form followed by 54 pages of instruction documentation for filling up the form which is the first page of this document... I have created a button "Print Page" on the first page which works perfectly and only prints the first page when I click on it...
However I prefer to put security on the document and stop printing the whole document thru Menu File/Print etc... so no student can accidently print the entire document and kill more trees!
Anybody has any idea on how this can be done? Just by pushing the Print Page button only print first page of the document and skip the rest of the pages after securing the document?
Your best option would be to separate the above into 2 different documents - the form and the instructions. Then secure the instructions against printing, and combine the two into a PDF Package. That way you have a single PDF file, but the instruction are secured against printing while the form and still be printed.
Since you're working with forms, another option is to tag everything not on the first page as visible "screen-only" This way (as long as your document positioning is flowed) your printed document will only be a single page long.
