What exactly do you mean by "custom properties"?
Under 'Document Properties' (where you can enter an Author, Subject, Keywords, etc.) there is an additional tab which allows you to define custom properties. What I want to do is store info (stuff like version, a document ID#, etc) in a common place that can be accessed by my script.
Edit - in Acrobat 7 the menu is 'Document Properties', in Acrobat 8, the menu is 'Properties'.
What properties and how were they set?
Depending on the version of Acrobat, there is an issue with version 8 and "this.info", you can try:
for(i in this.info)
console.println(i + ": " + this.info[i]);
This does not cover the XMP metadata.
In version 7, this.info will get the custom properties that have been defined.
I'll test in 8 (and Reader as well)
Edit: Works fine in Reader 7 too.
