The default behaviour for an "Image Field" object in Adobe LiveCycle Designer (which comes with Acrobat Professional) when you click on it is to browse to an image to insert into the area.
Only problem is that you would need save rights on the form, since by default Reader is not allowed to save forms. To enable save rights on the form, you'll need an Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions Server.
Thank you very much.
Now if I could get LiveCycle for my MAC, not just my PC I'll be in great shape.
Anyway it works great.
I have the Adobe Master Collection CS4. So I have Acrobat AND LiveCycle Designer.
How do I determine if I have Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions Serve?
The LiveCycle Reader Extensions Serves costs several thousands dollars. I
think you would have known if you had it.
damn I was afraid of that...
so can this be done with Javascriopt? I can script it, but need to know where in the reference to look...
any way to do this then with just regular Acrobat Pro?
