Execute Menu Item "Previous Document" doesn't work in version 8.
"Previous Document" or "Next Document" doesn't exists in version 9.
WOW. that is not the news I was looking for..
Thank you so much. Now I gotta figure out how to solve this issue.
Or "View => Tool Bars => More Tools" scroll down to "Page Navigation Toolbar" and check the "Previous View" and "Next View" options click "OK".
This is a MAJOR PROBLEM! Why would Adobe take this out?!
Seriously...I will have to scrap hundreds of hours (and thousands of dollars) worth of work if there is no workaround for this. Worse still...I have no solution to duplicate the functionality of "Go to previous document" "Go to previous view won't work because if a viewer scrolls through fifty pages in a document, he would have to click "Previous view" fifty time to get back.
I don't understand how Adobe could go to all the trouble to come out with an "upgrade" that lacks the functionality of the previous five versions. What's going on over there?
Agreed. Me, Nim, and other co-workers are sticking w/ 7.1 and only putting 8 on a few CPUs. Fortunately our clients are slow to upgrade, but when they do, we just might be in trouble. Not looking forward to that day...
Why Adobe? Why!??!?!?!?
...still no true solution...
They may consider this a security issue. For example, a user does not log off or exit Acrobat/Reader and someone else comes behind them, that second person can backup the document chain and in many instances recover sensative. form data from form data being cached!
Is that enough to reason to disable this "feature"?
