the last ScriptingGuide was for ID CS2 ...
but here is few links:
Your first link is a blatant web copy, with added advertisements, of the documents I painfully created out of the original files (and which appear in 2nd place in your The Very Best list -- ouch!).
While I *do* proclaim my version to be "free", it's 'free' as in, oh, say, a wooden park bench. In essence, feel free to sit on it, but don't take it home, and certainly don't carve your name into it.
Kavya also should know these are not official Adobe documents, or original works; they are all derivatives of the help file that
i comes with the ESTK
(and that top 'site' is not even a derivative, it's a lame copy).
Meanwhile the "official" documents for CS3 and CS4 are available here, under<br />the Scripting Resources tab:<br /><a href=http://www.adobe.com/products/indesign/scripting/index.html>.<br /><br />-- <br />Shane Stanley <firstname.lastname@example.org><br />AppleScript Pro Sessions <a href=http://scriptingmatters.com/aspro>
I'm sorry :( I know that somebody steal your work :( but I wasn't sure who did this :(
edit: and adobe forum server somehow give me posibility to edit my post ;) so it should be fixed now ;)

Uh, your edit should not have changed the _order_ of the links (which I assume
you did) but made a comment of some kind. When I read jongware's post, I though
the copiers had also swiped his domain name...
no - "bad" link was deleted - was on first place
but unfortunatelly - my original post remain unchanged on google :(

I'm reading via nntp, which I suppose why I get a bit confused occasionally when
people do edits :) Thanks for the clarification.

What a horrific thought.
Now I'll have to come up with something to keep
