    Testing whether pageitem is overridden

      Hi all,
      I've written a script that loops through the applied master page items and overrides them, like this:

      for(j=0; j < myDoc.pages.item(x).appliedMaster.pageItems.length; j++) {
      myDoc.pages.item(x).appliedMaster.pageItems[j].override(myDoc.pages[x]);
      }

      Pretty straightforward, and works nicely. However, if I run this on a document with items that are already overridden, I get an error. I tried placing the following qualifier in there, but it makes no difference:

      if(myDoc.pages.item(x).appliedMaster.pageItems[j].overridden == false)

      Every item on the page seems to return "false", but there are definitely overridden items on the page.

      Can someone please help out?

      Thanks in advance.
      Bruce
