Ah, after doing a search I see you have to include "Files:" before the
filter. However, I still can't figure out how to include multiple file
types in one filter.
This filters .doc files, but ignores the next two.
Nevermind, I see you need a semicolon. My main question now is how was I supposed figure out the syntax for this from the documentation :(.
Am I the only one that can't figure out that this:
File.openDialog ([prompt, filter, multiSelect])
Actually means you need square brackets around each parameter as opposed to one set of brackets around all three?
You're right, the documentation is wrong. Semicolons are used to group similar filters on the same line, commas for creating new lines for filters:
>var myFileMain = File.openDialog ("Select a file", "Documents:*.doc;*.docx, RTF files:*.rtf", true)
The documentation has it the wrong way round.
