Does turning on the Do Not Import Contents of Whitespace Only Elements option in the XML Import Options dialog box help? Sometimes that's all it takes.
Nope. Turns out that wasn't the issue. The issue that I was having was how to handle the child node of the parent "text" node. I am currently using the XML rules processor to create a function for each element. Therefore, I figured out that I have to acknowledge the parent node, and I did nothing with it, and then write another function for the child node. That gave me complete control over placement of the child node or the paragraphs.
Thanks for responding so quickly!
If the text node has no printable content, then untag the text node.
If this is your goal, then you can iterater the xml tree backwards:
//do any thing.
Not use the xpath, just for....
The text node doesn't buts it child node does.I tried to just leave the code out for it and go straight for the child node but it was cause wierd formatting issues. I'm interested in the iterator thing though. Can you elaborate on that. or if you have some sample code that would helpful.
