Have you tried a restart?<br /><br />-- <br />Shane Stanley <firstname.lastname@example.org>
Yes, I have restart several times, trashed cache folder, but nothing seems to help
I tried to run the Adobe Sample script BreakFrame.applescript from the scripts panel and got same error:
Error Number. -2741
Error String: Expected expression but found command name.
If I try to compile it with the ScriptDebugger I get the same error on this line:
if class of item myCounter of mySelection is in myTextObjects then
word "item" is highlighted
Have you added any third-party scripting additions lately? Even that<br />probably wouldn't explain that sort of screwiness...<br /><br />-- <br />Shane Stanley <email@example.com>

Only thing I have installed lately is WoodWing's SmartConnection plug-in.
I'll uninstall that and try again
Does item work OK in non-InDesign scripts?<br /><br />-- <br />Shane Stanley <firstname.lastname@example.org>
I uninstalled the WoodWing's SmartConnection plug-in and everything works again.
I installed and uninstalled plug-in several times; end result is the same, every time SmartConnection plug-in is installed scripts that have the word "item" doesn't work (there might be other words, but this the first one I confronted).
