Maybe indexOptions.title and indexOptions.titleStyle
Thanks alot Peter.
That´s exactly what I was searching for.
I guess the reason why I didn´t find it, is that I couldn´t belive that this is such a global setting. Because theoretically you can add more than one index (for whatever reason) as Document.indexes is a collection (still a little confused but happy to be able to continue).
Have a nice day; Tom

Ah -- unfortunately you're wrong there. It is true that doc.indexes is a collection, but InDesign handles just one index per document. Many requests have been made to allow more than one index in a document, to no avail so far.
Hi Tom77, Peter,
Having a collection for indexes when there can only be one index is the same as having a collection for texts when there can be only one text object (in a given container). Basically, the plural/singular structure is something we have to do to maintain compatibility across all of the languages, as well as consistency between object types.
That´s interesting. I´ve wondered myself quite a lot lately why there are always collection objects where it sometimes does´t really make sense.
Thanks for this very information!
