    Layout tables

    smealing
      Hello All.

A quick question for a DW novice; how do I get rid of the borders round layout tables and cells which are visible in the browser preview? Easiest way to see my problem is to simply draw a single layoout table in a blank page and then preview in a browser, all that can be seen is a dark outlin around the layout table.

I cannot find how to do this in the help menu.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

      Regards

I just read a similar post where the solution suggested was to set border = "0" in code view for each layout table and/or cell. This appears to do the trick. Is there any reason why it is not possible to do this in the property inspector?

Are you using the latest version of DW (DWCS3)? If so, it's because setting
it via the property inspector would use decrepated code and DW is trying you
push you into using valid html and css instead :-)

Too bad it doesn't push new users away from layout tables :)

You've obviously never seen badly decrepated code after it's been sitting
                        for a couple of days..
