    Centered div with overlay of horizontal scrolling content

      I've already done the following:
      Created a div with an image. It is centered using

      margin-left: auto;
      margin-right: auto;

      in the CSS. So it adjusts to the center of the window when the window is resized.

      The problem is here: I now need to place a horizontal row of images on top of this background (div with an image). The images need to scroll horizontally while the background div stays in the same place.

      Any help would be appreciated.

          Make "the image" the background of the div that is centering using CSS.
          Place the scroller within that div. Bada bing, bada boom.

            It would be so much easier for the rest of us if you would post a url to
            your page or give us a url to a page with the effect you're trying to
            accomplish. But since you did neither, I'm going to take a wild guess that
            you want a carousel scroller like this for your centered page.

            Does this help?
