    Live video streaming

      Hi guys

      is there any way that I can set up Captivate 3 to show live video? Any help, as always, appreciated

          In what way? Do you mean you want to publish a Captivate project that will
          somehow include a link to a webCam stream? Or do you mean can you use
          Captivate to record that stream for later viewing?

          If you want to learner to view a live stream within a published file, I
          think you'll have to build a Flash file that you can import to Captivate.
          This file would have the link to the stream - but I don't think this is even
          possible unless it's a live Flash stream, which needs (someone will correct
          me) a streaming media server or similar to be sending out the Flash video.

          I think there are many other, easier ways to achieve this without using
          Captivate - including simply including a clickable link in your Captivate
          movie that launches a browser window that is showing the live video.
