    Redundant pages

    Karlhevera Level 1
I have just upgraded to C4 (what a nice piece of kit). But as the 'map view' is no longer around, is there a way I can get the names of any redundant pages on my site. My site has 'details' pages of events. As these become past due, the pages are no longer of any use and I remove all links to them.

Dreamweaver's "check links sitewide" does have an orphan file display, that
will list files that are not used- that have no links to them.

But since the files have links to them, they are not orphans. They will be
orphan files After the links to them are removed...

Would this events calendar be easier to manage if a simple database solution
was used, so there were no static pages to remove, as the date expires the
info is not displayed and purged from the database?

thanks. will use the check links sitewise option. Database may be a way to think in the new year, when I will have lists of new garden/gardening events in London for 2009. Not much going on in London's wintertime....

where can I learn about databases. In my former incarnation I was a db developer, but that's while ago and time, as everything else, has moved on...

The article mentions CS3 - is there any reason it's not compatible with DW8
                as far as you know?
