Distill fail if rgb files placed

Is there a way/setting in which the distil will fail if an rgb file is placed?

      thanks

If your workflow still uses the old Distiller workflow, run a Preflight check after distilling looking for RGB images.

Better if you're working with Adobe Creative Suite files (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is to export or save directly as PDF choosing PDF/X as the PDF preset. This will convert the RGB to CMYK.

            Thanks.

I can set it up distilling or exporting to convert rgb to cmyk. I rather the distilling "cancel", or exporting fail with a message that there are rgb files.

Different clients tiff files use different profiles. If the wrong 4c profile or and rgb profile is used I want the error.

I realize I can preflight with ID but I'd rather skip that step for the rare occasion the wrong profile has been converted to.
