    Dead debugger...or just AIR?

    CrazyMerlin Level 1
Kind of a 2 sided deal this.
Since starting to do AIR apps my debugger fails, but is it just because it is AIR?
The thing is, I started an AIR app, then it got complex and so I now need some debugging. Is there a way to switch this back to just Flex so I can debug, or will I need to create a new project and import my code?

The error I get when trying to run the debugger is this:
      quote:

Process terminated without establishing connection to debugger.

      Command:

      "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 3\sdks\3.1.0\bin\adl.exe" C:\Dev\FlexAIR\SiteInfo\bin-debug\SiteInfo-app.xml C:\Dev\FlexAIR\SiteInfo\bin-debug

      Output from command:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

      at SiteInfo/selectAllSitesResult()[C:\Dev\FlexAIR\SiteInfo\src\ClientInfo.as:222]

The TypeError is irrelevant ( or is it? ) as the code I need to debug doesn't go that far.

Yes, you guessed, I'm new to Flex...PHP developer :)

Try opening the Task Manager and seeing if there are any open instances of
adl.exe running. If there are, terminate them.

Installing flash 10, seemed to be the end of my debugger. Have you installed 10 on your machine?

Flash player 10 totally killed my debugger in FlexBuilder.

After a bit of research I just shut all programs down and did the uninstall of FP 10 plus uninstall of FP 10 active X and did a install of FP9 and FP 9 debugger and it has been working smoothly since.

Yes I did when I installed FlashCS4....time to kill it then!
