You can probably already have password protected pages on your site, without any additional software. What exactly are you trying to do.
Hi and thanks for responding...
Im actually trying to do a question/answer type game of short answers on my website...for instance...
Q: What is my name?
then I would want the user to have to type in 'Rob' and be directed to a new page when they got the answer right...I thought the best way to accomplish this would be to use passwords as the answers...is there any easier way?

That might work but it certainly isn't the best way. The best way to evaluate answers to questions is to use server side scripting.
i am not familiar with server side side scripting, could you explain it or direct me somewhere that accurately describes it to me? Thanks
server side scripting?? anyone?? any help would be truly appreciated
Server side scriping is programming code that runs on your server. Common types are php, asp/VBScript, cold fusion, and jsp.
Between you last message and now, what have you done to try and solve your
issue... that way we'll know where to help out...

I have cold fusion...I previously tried to use it with my website to have a user log in and password database, however i could not get it to work correctl and I tried to move on with out it, but it would be more beneifical if I could somehow use it to have a database of answers to my webpage questions.
The problem really arose was entering the information for my website like where I stored my files, my ftp info, etc.
