Text with Shadows becomes Blurry

Presenter 7.0.1
Add a text box
Add text to the box
Select the text in the box
Format > Text Effects > Shadow, select a shadow
The shadow applies to the text, and looks really sharp

Publish the presentation

The text now looks corrupted, as opposed to shadowed. It looks blurry and hard to read.

Export to a .ppt (instead of .pptx) and publish it, the text looks normal. This is not an acceptable workaround as I lose all PP2007 and Presenter v7 features.
