Hi, we recently upgraded from CS2 to CS4 and have noticed that when opening PDF files in IE, the acrobat.exe doesn't close down....
So by the end of the day, the users have around 5 instances of acrobat.exe in their task manager. When they try and shut down, they aren't savvy enough to manually end the tasks then shut down... So they just leave the machine in a half shutdown state, which causes them more problems when they come in the next day.
The problem is recorded here http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=331506 but there doesn't seem to be a real fix for it, beside end the task manually.
I have showed them how to do this, but they just don't have the time to do this when rushing out the door ;)
Has anyone come across an acceptable fix for this?
Thanks,
Nathan
