What build number does it say? A legitimate retail version does NOT
identify itself as a Beta.

Did you use the uninstaller to remove the Beta version before installing the release version?
I had this problem with Fireworks CS4 in that it showed the Beta splash screen after I installed the release version. I hadn't used the proper uninstaller to remove all the beta files from various parts of the HD.
Once I did this and reinstalled Fireworks it was fine. I'm assuming it'd do the same for Dreamweaver CS 4.
