CS4 Release Identifies as Beta Version

    MarkHiatt1
I installed CS4 this morning, from a Web Premium license through my university, but my Dreamweaver CS4 still identifies itself as "Beta" on the splash screen.

Will it expire at some point? If it does, can I just re-enter my twenty-some digit serial number to get the final-final release version, or do I have to de-install and re-install, or some other option?

What build number does it say? A legitimate retail version does NOT
          identify itself as a Beta.

Did you use the uninstaller to remove the Beta version before installing the release version?

I had this problem with Fireworks CS4 in that it showed the Beta splash screen after I installed the release version. I hadn't used the proper uninstaller to remove all the beta files from various parts of the HD.

Once I did this and reinstalled Fireworks it was fine. I'm assuming it'd do the same for Dreamweaver CS 4.

            Hope this helps

It comes up as Version 10.0, Build #3963.
