Which version of the CR plugin do you have?
Also, should this be duplicated in the Applications>Photoshop plugin folder?
>should this be duplicated in the Applications>Photoshop plugin folder?
No...there is only ONE place to properly install the plug-in and if it ain;t working there, then you need to make sure that's the ONLY Camera Raw plug-in in that location. Also, after installing an update to previously visited folders in Bridge, you really need to purge the cache for those folders.
OK, there is only one plugin and that's in the App. support>Adobe... plugins folder.
I've purged Bridge (again) but still nothing. Even when I try File>Open with Camera RAW ... the option is greyed out.
Have you tried opening your 450D files in LR?
Yes. I've tried the 'File>Import photos from disk ...' menu option and after the 'Import photos' window, it says that the 'files are unsupported or damaged'.
Will they open in Canon's raw processor?
Try this mate...
1.In my Documents, make a folder called (Raw files)
2.Open Raw folder.
3.Connect camera and turn on.
4.Click. Start - My computer.
5.Right click camera.
7.select raw files.
8.paste into raw folder.
9.NOW OPEN Adobe photoshop or other program.
12.find raw older in my documents.
14.Double click on raw file.
Let me know if it works for you...
