Are you talking about using a Batch Process out of Bridge? Did you record an opening step? If so the odds are those are the settings that are being applied...you'll need to make sure the Override Action "Open" Commands check box is checked.
Thanks, there is no open command in my batch, i just choose the files first and then batch them, so i dont have the overide open action button checked. Do i need an open command in the batch for raw files?
Are you using the Batch command from Bridge with a recorded action?
Yes, essentially i'm just resizing and saving as a jpeg to post on the web.
I've seen something like this, but have not figured out why yet. In my situation I select a group of images in Bridge and go to Tools / Photoshop / Image Processor.
There I click the "open first image to apply settings" box.
Save in Same Location
Save as JPEG, resize to fit (1200 pixels), Convert Profile to sRGB.
No Action selected
Include ICC Profile
Run it and in Camera Raw roll the saturation down to -100 (convert to b&W).
Click "Open Image"
The process runs and the first image is converted to b&w, but the others are not.
I'm having the same issue. I'm using PS CS3 o a Mac OS 10.4.11.
I changed the camera profile to one I downloaded from (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=labs_cameraprofiles) and the batch processed images are holding there settings so far.
bumping this topic. I am having this exact same issue and i see there was no resolution to this issue.
I am trying to convert RAW files and add saturation and save them as JPEG.
The whole action runs fine except the camera RAW settings are not being applied. I have tried Image Processor, Batch from Brige, Automate from Photoshop. All with the same results. A jpg file without the RAW settings applied.
Macintosh or Windows? Exact version of the OS? Exact version of Photoshop and Camera Raw?
Thanks for the reply, its an issue with CS3. I was able to duplicate it.
I am using WIndows XP, but it also did it on Vista. I think its a CS3 issue as XP with CS4 work ok
Is the action making use of the "Open Image" button in ACR or the "Done" button?
