Probably has to do with your default sharpening & noise reduction settings.
If you're comparing to in-camera JPEGs then the JPEGs usually look smoother initially because the higher ISO images will have a fair amount of noise reduction applied.
and check whether you're underexposing the images, just to cover all the bases.
I chose no noise reduction at higher iso in camera menue
