    Returning to the editing window

In ACR 4.* the localized corrections were on the top pane, stuff like the cloning and red eye. Now they have their own pane on the right hand side. As such if you use either of these tools you need to hit a keyboard shortcut to get back to the editing pane. It sounds like a little thing but when working through a large batch of photos it was a pain in the neck. Anyone else finding this annoying?

p.s. I do realise that adding the extra tools on the top made little room for cropping sliders. Still a shame though, the beauty of batch editing in ACR is speed!

Not as long as one quits fighting the changes and adapts...it's very easy to hit the Z key after working on a tool, to get back to the panel view.

As more and more tools come along, there really was no choice but to offer the greater room provided in the panel mode. So, not only should you get used to it, it's likely to become even more needed in the future.
