What maybe happens is that Bridge shows you the JPEG that is inside the RAW file, then the developped image. Normally, this only happens on the first visit of a folder.
Try to copy the files and XMP to another folder; then purge the cache of Bridge for that folder; to see if it would re-build properly on a later visit.
What is the size of Camera Raw's cache? What are Bridge settings for the Cache? Is it the case for every folder? how many files in there? Is it s a local folder?
Camera Raw cache is Max Size 1 Gb
Bridge cache is set halfway between Smaller and Larger
Not the same for all folders, there are 500 images in this folder (aprox 8Gb)..... is this the problem? Should I set the cache to 10 Gb or so?
Folder is on an external drive
Did you try to check if the result is the same on an internal drive? if the external drive is on USB, speed can be slower sometimes...
But the cache is usually on the system drive, thus internal...
I'd try on a folder with a smaller amount of pictures, for troubleshooting sake.
I'm having the same problem, and there is a thread on this topic in the Bridge forum. Apparently, there is currently no solution.
