You should not be using Camera Raw 5.0. Upgrade at least to ACR 5.2.
I just updated to ACR5.2 (thanks Ramon) but still the adjustments are not applying, although the adjustments did apply to the thumbnails in Bridge, any other ideas what the issue could be.
Could you explain in more detail exactly how you are doing the batching? Are you using Image Processor? Are you generating Jpegs directly from within ACR? Are you using Photoshop>Batch from Bridge?
If I remember correctly there are some specific "gotchas" related to using Photoshop>Batch. Jeff talks about this in his book. I think it is related to the "Overide action open" option. One way uses the same recipe for all images in the batch and another way uses each image's recipe. Something like that.
If all you are doing is converting to Jpeg, I strongly recommend using Image Processor or Russell Brown's 1-2-3 Process (Image Processor + a few additional options).
Hi Dennis, Im batching through an action I made in Photoshop and am using it from Bridge, heres the path from Bridge: Tools>Photoshop>Batch.
Will Image Processor still apply my adjustments I made in ACR, because I am converting to Jpeg, but also I adjusted the exposure.
I seem to have fixed the issue, and now the adjustments are being applied in the batch from Bridge, I just deleted the action and re-recorded it, and that did it, Thanks Dennis & Ramon for your help.
Glad to hear it is working for you. To answer your question though, yes, Image Processor will use the raw recipe you have established for each raw file as long as you hit Done after changing each image.
