Make a suitable brightness setting in ACR; and save it. Then apply it to the whole batch through Bridge's
Edit menu/Develop Settings.
Or, if you find this brightness discrepancy to be consistent, make an appropriate adjustment to the brightness only, and then save new camera raw defaults. If you find at a later time that you don't need that adjustment, you can always reset the defaults.
These two solutions are not proportional adjustments, correct? In other words, the same intensity of brightness will be applied to each photo, correct? I was looking for a proportional adjustment, similar to the auto adjustment that already exists...can't I just take the x amount of brightness added for each picture and add y amount of percentage?
Saved Custom Curve with a bump at the mid-point perhaps?
But getting correct exposures in the first place would really be the preferable course here.
Yes, you are right about that. Don't think that kind of technology is in ACR, but then I'm sort of on the short end of the knowledge stick.
